to the Anglo-Nubian
Breed Society of New Zealand official website. Formerly named the "Nubian
Breed Society of NZ (Inc)" the society is proud of its new name which was
changed by a unanimous vote from the membership in July2007.
The Anglo-Nubian Breed Society was established for the Preservation,
Promotion and Protection of the Beautiful Anglo-Nubian Goat in NZ.
This site enables viewers to find information about Anglo-Nubian Dairy
Goats in NZ and also about the Anglo-Nubian Breed Society of New Zealand
Inc.
A rare breed in NZ, Anglo-Nubian Goats are unique. They are large, proud,
exotic goats with a huge personality and an unmistakable appearance. They
are renowned for their beautiful colours, long pendulous ears and high
arched roman noses. The expression on their face described as
'supercilious'. They have a haughty air about them like no other goat!
We will update
regularly with news, information, contacts and photos of Anglo-Nubian Goats
in New Zealand.
